The Brand
I started Born Again Denim in 2017 by up-cycling denim from thrift stores and selling them on Facebook. I was coming out of high school knowing to customize jeans. I would add patches of fabric on shorts and cuts on jeans for friends. My classmates would come to me for particular looks. At the time it wasn't even about selling the product before the business got started. I didn't have a brand name at the time. It was mostly about enjoying the creativity behind the work and how the finish product came out. I would come up with other ways to make the jeans standout after I do one pair. I never thought my hobby would turn into a business.
As of today I aim to continue to expand my brand by making more custom sustainable looks and designs of 1of1 custom pieces.
